Inspired by wandering the woods behind her home in North Carolina, Annemarie bought her first carving knife at thirteen. She has studied woodcarving at the John Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC and the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockland, ME. All her products are carved by hand using traditional techniques. She also owns and runs Campbell Joinery, a fine furniture and timber framing business with her lovely husband, John: www.campbelljoinery.com.
